Question: Leaking fluid from stitch's after surgery!?
I had surgery to remove a lump from under my nipple it was pretty big the size of a small orange and i have a void there the doctor said it would fill up with liquid i just had it drained 3 days ago and i had it stiched up with disolving stichs and i think i might of split it open a bit cuz right now its kinda leaking the fluid that has come back should i just keep it bandaged up or whatWww@Answer-Health@Com

it could still be leaking fluid!. you should observe it for a while!. if it shows signs of inflammation and infection, like burning, redness and pain, you should go to your doctor and have it looked again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Don't over worry yourself but you must get back intothe dr!. My husband is a personal injury attorney!. Hes best friend handles medical mal practice, although his father is and brothers are dr's!. Talk about a wonderful family!. However you must document, and advocate for your self, your body at the hands of dr's are your responsibilty first!. Worse case , you bug them!. Be your own advocate, you have your life!. and they, dr's have vowed to serve you!. Get a second opinion! now ! And I prya for you that it all goes well, they do what you want to assure you, comfort you, and get you physically and emotionALLY, TO NORMal!.
