Answers:
Talk might help---but it didn't help me!. I simply was afraid to go to sleep without knowing it---so I stayed wide awake night after night, not being able to sleep for days!.!.!.!.!.it took me a long time to realize why I was afraid to go to sleep!. So I started to leave the big light on---and I counted sheep backwards and forwards---told my fingers, hands, arms, feet etc!. to relax and get warm---and one day that worked!. Then after a while I turned the nightstand lamp on instead of the overhead light and slept with that---by then I had somewhat a routine in trying to relax!.!.!.!.and by now I can sleep in a dark room without being afraid!. It probably took me 2-3 years to get to that and I still have nights when I have problems going to sleep or staying asleep, but in general, I can go to sleep now!. My fear of the dark, the fear to open my eyes and not see nothing stemmed from my childhood!.!.!.!.!.and that was the culprit!. I didn't even realize that for a long time!. So it might be worthwhile to find out if something happened in your early childhood that causes you to be afraid to sleep!.!.!.!.!.!.and then work from there!. Good luck!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
