The most common symptoms of food poisoning are vomit and diarrhea!. The most serious consequence of these two symptoms is acute dehydration which can lead to death!. The best thing is to make sure that you are completely hydrated!. If you cannot keep water down then you need to go to the hospital!. If you do not have these symptoms then you do not have food poisoning!. By the way, charcoal is for chemical poisoning not food or bacterial poisoning!. Mild food poisoning usually doesn't require a visit to the doctor (unless the person is really young or old or in otherwise poor health)!. You need to stay hydrated; so drink water if you can do so without throwing it up!. If you are throwing up the water, try eating ice chips instead!. Otherwise, just rest!. You have to replace all those fluids your body has gotten rid of!. Electrolytes help too so Gatorade is a must if your stomach is up to it, if not stick with the water and some gingerale to calm it down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
