I have an ear infection...my doctor said...?!
Question: I have an ear infection!.!.!.my doctor said!.!.!.!?
I have bacterial conjuctivitis!.!.!.you know the ye infection thing!.!.I've also had this cold for weeks!.!.bad throat, mucas, coughing, blocked nose, tiredness etc!.!.!.my ear has been really hurting too!.!.my doctor told me its blocked with wax and she said I need to get olive oil to clean it out!.!.!.right!.!.!.what is this!?!? actual oil!? what do i just pour it in my ear or what!?!? please tell me what she means, how to do it, how often, where etc!.!.!. because its so painful!! thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

olive oil is a common anv very effective at home remedy!. It soften hardened wax!. It is also very very soothing to ear pain so give it a try!. I do recommend warming it slightly first!.!.!.!. then just add a few drops with a medicine dropper!. Lay still on your side so it stays in place and covering your ear with a warm towel during the process is also very soothing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I wouldn't use olive oil as i find it discusting!. Go to a pharmacy and tell them you want a ear wax removal kit!. They will direct you in the right place!. What helps is if you get a warm towel and put eucalyptus oil on it, then inhale it, do this a few times a day so maybe once in the morning, once at lunch and once in the evening!. It temperary soothes the pain and helps unblock sinuses!. Believe me i'll know!.!.!.i have a hole in my eardrum and a narrow eustachion tube so i get constant a swollen ear drum and eustachion tube!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i've never heard of using olive oil!. I use hydrogen peroxide, and yeah you can just dump it in there and the wax will just break up and come out!. it's pretty cool actually!. You can do it as often as you wan tbut I'd say once every day or two until this clears up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
