well, i have these big burn blotches on my stomach from accidentally dropping a steam iron on it!. i dont want to buy a million crates of mederma or any other lotion!. is there any type of laser or surgery used to get rid of these burns!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

How long ago did this burn occur!? Mederma and other over the counter medications are not for current burns, but they can lessen the redness of scar tissue if the burns are old and healed!. I would recommend you see a dermatologist before self-treating your burn!. If it is fresh, you may need antibiotics and other medical treatment!. If it is healed and old, your dermatologist may recommend a course of treatment or may in turn refer you to a plastic surgeon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
