Panic attacks is a nervous condition!.!.
They come unexpectedly and a person can feel shaky, have breathing problems and just feel sheer panic and want to get away from where ever they are as soon as possible!.!.
You don't feel nervous at the time like some people think, it's what's actually going on in your mind that causes this problem!.
Google it and read more about this problem!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Panic attacks make your heart race and you feel panicky!. Are you just feeling dizzy if you stand up quickly!. You go light headed for a second or two with that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Panic attacks rarely happen when you stand up too quickly, that normally happens for other reasons that I honestly can't think of right now!.

Panic attacks are kinda scary if you don't know your having one!. Some people say it feels like their dying!. Your heart races, you become really hot, etc!. For me I feel of the three I listed, although I've learned to clam myself down when having one!.

Panic attacks are associated with anxiety, well for most cases, sometimes mine just come because they come!.

I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You feel claustrophobic and might hyperventilate!. then you are likely to start lashing out and trying to get out of where ever you are!. If you are getting somer sort of symptoms if you stand up quickly then there is a physical problem not a psychological one!. I suggest you get your blood pressure checked and learn to get up slowly!. (If you know what the cause of your symptoms is then remove it!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

that dont sound like a panic attack, could be a drop in blood pressure!. Panic attacks occur though panic, fear and anxiety!. They come on suddenyl, you feels your heart pounding, you findd it hard to control your breathing, and you just want the world to swallow you up!. Get your bp checked out at the g!.pWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am not sure that you are describing a panic attack!. If your problem is the lightheadedness and faint feeling when you stand up quickly, or change posture, you are in fact describing postural hypotension!. This is a common problem that increases with age, but can also be accentuated by certain types of medication!. It is due to a time-lag before the baro-receptors in the carotid artery in the neck switch in and tell the body to put up your blood pressure slightly when you stand!. This results in a momentary fall in blood pressure and thus blood to the brain, producing the symptoms described!.

Panic attacks are caused by the body's normal physiological 'fight and flight' response being turned on inappropriately!. The autonomic nervous system prepares the body to run away or fight to defend itself!. Blood is diverted away from the bowels and other organs and diverted to the brain heart lungs and muscles!. The pulse rate rises as does the blood pressure and the body hair stands up and you begin to sweat, as well as feeling mentally anxious!. Once the body 'learns' to switch this mechanism on and off it has to be retrained not to do so!. This is done using relaxation techniques or CBT, and occasionally these days, with medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, your body starts to (for one reason or other, could be a wild animal attack or worrying about redundancy for example) produce and release a lot of adrenalin and cortisol, two hormones that causes your senses to be on edge, ready for "fight or flight"!. This is because from an evolutionary perspective, it is a defense mechanism against, for example, attacks from wild animals!. The adrenalin causes your breathing to become shallow in order to give your brain and muscles a short and effective burst of oxygen (fuel), and your stomach to cease digesting!. You could say that it trades all long-term functions for short-term ones!. This is why stress can sometimes cause infertility!. Anyway, the brain doesn't know the difference between long-term worries over a relationship, or fear of a snake that needs to be killed or ran away from!. So it reacts as though fight or flight it suddenly necessary, in response to your stress hormones reaching a certain level!.

I have never heard anyone getting them just by standing up quickly!. But I do know that, as soon as you stop being scared of getting them, and realise that they are really just caused by your blood levels of adrenaline, they stop happening!. (OK, so it also requires you to think about why you are so worried and make some changes)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
