Pain: tonsillectomy vs. cesarean?!

Question: I've just found out that I need to have my tonsils out. The doctor warned me that it was quite a painful recovery, which has me a bit worried. Having had two cesareans (which I came through without too much of a problem), I was wondering, for any one who's had both procedures, how the pain compares?

its a breeze compared to a c section but a c section is not thad bad
