What can I eat to reduce nausea?!

Question: Just had my wisdom teeth out and have been drinking nothing but tasteless porridge and painkillers for the last 2 days. :)
What can I eat to reduce the nausea that keeps coming on?
Thanks in advance.

Try some brothy soups and herbal teas.

Cottage cheese is sometimes good .. and puddings.

Try to use Tylenol and reduce or eliminate other pain killers. They tend to make me sick as well.

crackers.soak them in liquid first so they are mushy.u are nauseated from the painkillers and are u swallowing blood?try also some soup broth.good luck:)

take alot of vegatables and boil then then drink the broth with salt in it to the taste

When my wife was sick from surgery she was told to drink peppermint teas, or suck a peppermint mint.
Was told it helps with nausea, hope this helps.
Most people cannot stomach pain medicines, I for one can but for many it makes them sick.

Darlin,
Crackers...soak them in a soup or something that will taste..good but not alot at 1st. Try some mashed pototoes, warm tea...if U can swing it ...macroni & cheese...Good Luck, I've been there...unless U get something on ur'e stomach...the pain killers are going to hurt more than help at this point...So try the mashed pototoes w/ lots of butter & some salt/pepper...Don't get carried away...
