Is there such thing as a pill chopper?!
Question: my doctor gave me a bunch of samples of a medication and told me to only take half. the problem is that i can't ever chop them very well. they are small and dont have a halfway mark or anything on them, making them hard to cut. ive been using a kitchen knife and im coming out with pills that are 3/4 instead of 1/2. is there such thing as a pill chopper that i can get at the pharmacist? will tey chop them for me?

Yes!! My husband bought one for me last week at CVS Pharmacy. It was $4.99. Make sure the pill is flush up against the back 'wall' of the the area where the pill is split. Perfectly cut in half. I take ambien to sleep sometimes and a whole one is too much. Half works great.
Yes there is. If you have a Dollar Tree store in your area, try there first. If not, your local pharmacy will do. And no, I don't think the pharmacist will "chop" them for you. I don't believe they are allowed to. I hope you can find one soon to help you.
you can also buy a pill cutter at walgreens.
You can get one at the pharmacy. They are called pill splitters.
