Sounds like tinnitus. It's normally temporary, but it can be permanent. People who frequent loud concerts and/or people who listen to their MP3 players at full blast (with headphones, of course) are the main victims of tinnitus.

www.whitenoisemp3s.com has soothing sounds for masking tinnitus. They're each one hour long and you can download them. Right before I hop into my bed every night I make sure to turn my speakers' volume up to medium and play "air conditioner hum" to help me sleep -- it's very soothing and I swear my life by it.

See a doctor! It could be serious.

go to the doctor..!

there is a fluid in ear . that must be out of whack

can she balance?

answer them

mabey your just tired, cuz that happens to me when im tired, it could also be from a headache, idk for sure tho

She could have busted her ear drum she may need to see a doctor asap

sleep, and don't pay attention to it,try to forget about it and listen to other music

chew gum or tell a docter

im not sure why it would last that long, but anytime you hear your ears ring, you have lost a bit of your hearing that will never be re-gained.

she has probably damaged her ears, but with luck the ringing will go away eventually, but it is possible they are permanently that way.

it might be like that permanently

Ringing of the ears means that you have damaged some of the hair cells within your ear used to detect sound. Unfortunately ringing in the ears means you already lost some cells and will not be able to heal. You are born with a certain number of haircells and once you damage them, they are gone.

However, you will not go deaf unless you damage all of your hair cells but continue exposure to loud music, you will lose certain frequency or levels of hearing and become deaf much sooner as you age.

There is no medication to take to stop the ringing but if it doesn't stop within the next day, consult a phyician.

Its probably normal
If it is still happening at the end of the week i would have her see the doctor because she might be developing tinnitus.

that happened to me ones.. it goes away.. just try to stay away from laud noises and using MP3 and Ipods... it does go away.

It might because the music might have damaged a bit of her hearing usually when you listen to really loud music it creates a bad ringing or like beeping noise but usually it should only last for a day maybe your friend should go check a doctor.

I think the noise at the party triggered an attack of Tinnitus ...unfortunately as of this day there is no cure for that. Tinnitus is an illness that causes ringing in the ears ...it can appear at any time and drive you crazy, and then go away, it comes and go. She should avoid stress and loud noises.
Perhaps your friend needs to see anear specialistto have her hearing checked.

The loud music has damaged the tiny hairs in her ear that pick up vibration to allow her to hear. The ear rings when you cannot hear. The tiny hairs bend with the vibrations and with loud continuous noise the hairs are damaged. She really needs to go to the doctor and have her hearing checked.

You have damaged your ear from the loud noise. It might go away after a while or it might not.

It sounds like she may be affected by High Frequency Hearing Loss. My ears have been ringing for 21 years. I was exposed to gun fire very close to my head without protection. The doctors tell me that I have done permanent damage to some of my nerves. The result of the damage is the ringing. There are also certain frequencies that I cannot hear. The nerves that hear those frequencies are dead. They will never grow back.

Hearing loss is cumulative. Every time your friend, or anyone, exposes themselves to very load noises, your nerves in your ears can get damaged. Each incident adds to the previous incident.

Your friend can go to a doctor or a hearing clinic to be checked. Also, there are vitamins that can be taken to help encourage cell growth in the ear. Ask the doctor.

the ringing just happens when your ears have to adjust suddenly from a low level sound to a high one. since its been four days you might want to check with a doctor
