How clean is TOO clean around children.?!
Question: does anyone else think that people are keeping childrens surroundings far too clean now a days?!
All you see on the adverts are anti bacterial sprays for anything and everything...
yes, its good to keep things clean, but when you kill ALL the bacteria their immune systems wont build a resistance.
so when they do come into contact with the bacteria else where they are sure to get ill!
the saying "a little dirt wont hurt" is too true.

It IS true - a little dirt won't hurt.
And it's not just the immune system itself, as far as getting ill is concerned You know why allergies are so prevalent today? Because the children never have a chance to be exposed to the normal little things that their immune systems could fight off, so, in order to "keep in practice", the immune system OVERreacts to a little bit of intolerance (say, peanuts - there's a big one).
Another big one that is overkill in my opinion is the hand-sanitizer that us all the rage now.
Basic daily hygiene is enough; anything else, and you are trying to be TOO clean - which is actually worse (in terms of severity) than being not clean enough.
P.S. I'm not recommending acupuncture per s
