Stomach pain question - taking things..I'm 49 yrs YOUNG......?!
Question: Hoping I can get some insight here from a medical person or someone who is familiar with this.....
A few months ago I decided I probably should start taking calcium (probably should have a while ago). But my husband and I are also taking Fish Oil and Vitamin C.
I have been getting stabbing pains in my actual stomach (the organ -- not in my intestines) - it comes and goes.
I take
2400 mg of Fish Oil (2 - 1200 a day 1 a.m. and 1 p.m.)
2000 mg Vitamin C (2 - 1000 mg. 1 a.m. and 1 p.m)
1200 mg Calcium (it says on the bottle 600+D - what does that mean the 600+d)?
Also having a gas issue (including loud burping or it hurts if I don't).....do you think what I have started taking is causing the pain and gas issues (yes, both kinds) and if so, which ones? I think I need this in my system. Thanks a bunch.
p.s I take 1 prilosec a day for many yrs too.

Sounds like youre overmedicating Lessen your dosages and see what happens
