Warm milk helps you sleep. I'm sure cold milk helps too, but now as much. Drinking 3 glasses of any kind of milk will help you grow tall and have healthy bones.

Well if you exercise it will help build muscle tone.
Milk has chemicals in it that can help you sleep, of course there is protein, calcium and vitamins A & D in milk that is good for anybody. It can also keep you from waking up hungry in the middle of the night, if you have a problem with that.
Milk contains a large amount of tryptophan (the same stuff in turkey) - it is easier for your body to absorb when milk has been heated....tryptophan is the precursor to Serotonin....which is a major neurotransmitter player in sleep.
Calcium is an inhibitory ionic neurotransmitter - it slows down activity in the brain....which gives two other neurotransmitters in the brain - GABA and Adenosine - a chance to "do their thing" - that is, put you to sleep.
On a chemical level, sleep is kinda complicated....warm milk is simple. (I prefer mine with honey, ginger and cinnamon)
