Brother holding breath? and eye question?!
Question: everytime he hold his breath on land he can hold it to 2 minutes and hes 11. but in water he can only breath for about a minute and a half. why is that? what teachniques can i do to get me to hold my breath longer because were going to have a competition?how can some people open their eyes in water/swimming pools and see clearly because if i try my eyes sting and evrythings so blurry?

becasue he is exercising under water...increasing the level of CO2 in the blood which makes you want to breath.....do not try and increase your lung capacity before swimming underwater by hyperventilating...you can die doing that...
some people aren't bothered by the water on their eyes...use swimmers goggles.
because above ground he is not moving much but underwater he is moving expending oxygen!
