Shot Reaction?!
Question: On Friday, I got a tetnus shot at my doctor. Over the weekend, it was very red and lumpy, and it was really hot to the touch. I took some asprin, but ti didn't really do anything. It is still red and super hot today, and the lump hasn't gone away. Is there something wrong with it or is it normal to have it last this long?

Honestly, I think that a small amount might have gone in the the wrong tissue. I think it is supposed to be in the muscle tissue and it might have gone in the fat tissue.

Mild problems
If these problems occur, they usually start within hours to a day or two after vaccination. They may last 1-2 days:
soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given
These problems can be worse in adults who get Td vaccine very often. Acetaminophen or ibuprofen (non-aspirin) may be used to reduce soreness.
