Not just vitamins - you need protein. Protein is needed for growth AND repair. )(Found in meat, fish, eggs, cheese, some legumes, milk) Vitamin C is also vital as a daily intake - the body can't store it. (Found in fresh fruit and veg and is added to many processed foods) Drink plenty of water - imperative. You haven't said - I take it your Dr/district nurse/surgeon all know about the infected wound? It will need monitoring by a nurse daily, swabbing to determine whether it needs antibiotic treatment or other intervention.
