What are some good ways to fall asleep easy?!

If you arent totally against it, Try smoking weed before you go to bed. It helps me and you get a good deep sleep. And it pretty much isnt any different then the suggestion to take ambien..Exept that you wouldnt end up depending on it.

Avoid caffine after lunchtime
take a warm shower or bath
sleep on fresh sheets
drink milk
Tense your muscles one by one and then release the same way.
listen to calming music
read a boring book/ watch news

I usually put soothing music to go to sleep. I cant sleep without music.

read a REALLY boring book, always works. Or create a calm tranquil atmosphere in your bedroom with candles or something.

Try some ambien! Works nice for me. You will need a prescription for it, tho. If all else fails, nyquil, even if you aren't sick. I know, not the best advice, but I have my own issues falling asleep and staying that way, so I do what I have to!!

I have had insomnia since I was a kid. It's really horrible and people just don't understand what it's like, I know. So the only thing that helps me is doing the exact same ritual before I go to bed every night. I don't know if you are a night or morning shower person but if it's night, shower at the same time, brush your teeth, get dressed for bed... you get the idea. Just do it in the same order every night. Also, do something like read or watch TV for 30 mins only then just turn off the TV or close your book. In about a week this will get your body down with the routine. Also, before you brush your teeth, it helps to eat something with complex carbs (like a home made oatmeal cookie, not pkgd with lots of artificial ingredients like partially hydrogenated oil.. something healthy). There is also a supplement you can take that is all natural called Calms Forte. Its not like a heavy tranquilizer. If you are stressed or have anxiety during the day you can take 1 or 2, at night you could take 4 to help relax and go to sleep. They are just like those little chalk things that melt in your mouth.
