Why do people who take meth get scabs on their faces?!

They have hallucinations that cause them to think things are crawling on their skin, in particular around the face and on arms. They pick at their skin causing it to break open. Result . . scabs. SO ugly such a nasty drug . . .

I've heard that some think there are bugs crawling on their faces so they pick at their faces alot until they bleed sometimes, and maybe that's why they have so many scars, since they hallucinate alot.
They try to scratch off there "meth mites"
meth gives them a feeling of something crawling on their skin and causes them to start itching hard and harder..
