I am a blood, bone marrow, and organ (once I pass away) donor. I personally feel those are ways to help another individual who might not have any other options. I regenerate both my own blood and bone marrow so why the heck not potentially help save the life of someone else. Sure the procedure may put me in pain for awhile, but it will relieve much more pain for the recipient. As for the organ donation, I am not going to use them after I pass, so my death might save the lives of many.

I'm on the register but the chances of being called for are quite slim
I know that its really really painful. Why not just be a blood donor?
my mom gave bone marrow to my grandmother when she had cancer, all i really know that hurts like crazy.... a needle is going through your bone!! :P
I'm a doner as I figure it costs me nothing but may save someones life...the stats that were explained to me were that there are like 25000 people registered in Wales or so but only a fraction of that can donate but the more people on the list the more chance there is of helping someone
