How do YOU deal with a hangover?!

Question: Are you the type who can function and go to work and everything or do you have to lay in bed and moan all day? What are your general symptoms when hungover? Does anyone here experience anxiety and panic when they are hungover? And finally, what usually works to fix it for you?

If you love to drink as much as I do, but Hate the next morning, then try these pills called chasers, they work great. You usually take 2 w/ your 1st drink and then 2 more about 6 or 7 drinks later. These really help for the next morning. There are @ your local drug store, probably in the same aisle as aspirin and stuff like that, the come in a red box, and they were developed by the same company that created the 5 hour energy drink!
- someone also told me to eat applesauce before you go to bed drunk, somehow this trick is supposed to work as well.
-As much as you probably don't want to drink anything else when you get home, trying drinking a full glass of water, this will help aid you dehydration process down a bit. That's why you get those headaches and other problems in the morning. The blood vessels shrink in your noggin because alcohol makes you dehydrated.
Hope this helps in the future!!

WATER

I don't get them cause I don't drink.

i have to lay in bed. the best way for me to get over it is sleep, piss, and sh!t

I've never had a hangover, but if you take a couple of Asprin before you get too drunk, you won't have one when you wake up the next day.

asprin

i just dont get drunk

I still feel a lil drunk the morning after and sometimes a lil blahh but i just go about my day as normal usually Sometimes sleep in a little longer

Have another drink

water
energy drinks

Drink lots of water while drinking and after drinking. Your body is dehydrated.

Gatorade and sports drinks will only further dehydrate you thanks to the salt and other garbage they put in there. Yeah, they're great for athletes, because they need the electrolytes and whatnot, but your body's best way to rehydrate is to drink water.

Don't drink alcohol. There's no better solution.

I don't get hangovers , but then if I drink ,I stop at one or two drinks.
If I have two it will be over at least 5 hrs

um i just get a headache so i drink coffee with aspirin

Alka Seltzer, Gatorade, and 2 Aleve...them i'm off to work but dragging all day...i also can't see bright light so i usually wear my sunglasses.

I take vitamin pills and drink plenty of V-8 juice.

the best thing is lemon juice and salt .. make lemon juice and instead of sugar use salt in the juice and drink ... or have a glass of wine tht would remove hangover :)

No anxiety just LOTS of guilt and realizations about how old I've gotten. I may go in late for work an hour or two but I show up.

OH, and I ALWAYs have to eat some really greasy food to feel better.

I never drink on an empty stomach and I aways quit drinking a while before I am going to go to sleep and always have a huge glass or 2 of water before going to bed. I rarely have a hangover that i can't handle with a couple of asprin and a cup of coffee.

no, drink lots of water before if you know youre gonna drink lots, and during it. Also eat bread, it absorbs the liquid. A shower helps, and black coffee...

I am absolutly useless while hungover! I hate it. I usualy have horrible head aches and somewhat of an achy body. But its not like the flu. More like after a tough workout. Usually my head hurts so bad it affects my vision. Alka Seltzer and a few tylenol usualy help. The most affective way is actualy to drink a couple beers lol

Water, asprin and a long hot shower.

The best thing is not to drink that much in the first place. Know your limit and try not to pass it. you can still have a lot of fun without overdoing it. plus you won't do something you'll regret later.

My hangover advice is to drink a lot of water in between alcoholic drinks. Eat food when you drink. Don't drink any cheap stuff because the impurities in it are what give you hangovers. Expensive stuff is better. Vodka is good because its clean and free of any impurities. But then again it is pure alcohol so you won't need to drink as much of it to get drunk.

I don't drink excessive amounts, that cures all these ailments

heaps of water and try to eat before you go to sleep

stop drinking a couple hours before you crash

painkillers if you have a headache (u can take them when u go to sleep too)

eat lots of fruit before and after

big greasy meal

exercise (sounds weird but go for a hike on a hangover, it'll be gone in 5 mins)

any kind of electrolyte-replacement drink (gatorade etc)

have another drink in the morning works well (or smoke some herb if u are that way inclined) ;-)

go for a swim / have a cold shower

First Lots and Lots of Water before bed..but its easy, Set your alarm for 4 hrs after you fall asleep, this is important..place a bottle of water by your bed along with two aspirin and something small to eat. when the alarm goes off for the 4hrs...take the aspirin, eat and drink the water...repeat every four hours...

OR Greasy Food...that fixes all but lots and lots of water before bed also..

i rarely get them, but you're hungover because your blood sugar is low and you're dehydrated. So take asprin for immediate symptoms and eat something fullfiling and sugary. Drink straight water and lots of it.... you'll be good in about an hour. Keep positive and active to get your mind off it too :)

Sleep. Sleep fixes it for me...lots of bed rest and crackers. *the Zesta Saltine's kind*

I sometimes will take benedryl, TONS of water and tylenol if I have a headache. The benedryl just helps me relax and fall asleep easier, since I have sleeping issues.

But I have found the best way to help or prevent a hangover is to drink in moderation. Find a way to keep the buzz, still have fun and party on...without going too over board. Drink a lot of water before bed and allow yourself plenty of rest.

I don't know how much help that answer was...but hopefully sufficient! ??

It depends on how much I've had to drink, but for me, I have terrible hang overs. I usually try (although not always possible) to drink atleast half a litre of water before I go to bed. When I wake up I drink more water, eat a good breakfast if possible and then drink plenty of orange juice.

Well I would just have an Advil and sleep it on........But in Japan they use Eki-Kyabe. From what I've heard it's pretty good.

I can function fine. i just feel really bad, but i just keep drinking water.
