At what age is a person's death no longer a tragedy if they die of natural c!

Question: When Heath Ledger died, everyone was like "Oh, what a tragedy", but the death of George Burns did not provoke such a response because he was 100 years old and ready to go. So what is the age cut-off for a death by natural causes to no longer be a tragedy?

I agree with the others, anything over 80 would be considered a life well lived.

After 80

80+

Was Heath's death natural causes? I think the cut off is around 60.

I think that anyone over the age of 80-85 have had a good innings.

When life is cut short and you die its tragic because life hasn't "fully" been lived. I don't think you should outlive your children...that's for sure. I am going to say that anything over 80 is lived.

I think it is that when someone is sick or passes in their sleep at an age over 60-that your not shocked or in disbeleif but no matter what age when someone 'suddenly passes' its so much more harder to deal with because it is so unexpected. One you have time tro prepare for and one you have just the shock of the moment no matter really what age.
