Ugh Im sick but my mom is makin me go to school anyway?!

Question: I cough a lot and I cough up phlem, I have a stomach ache and a head ache and stuffy nose. She let me stay home yesterday but she said I have to go to school today and tomarrow. I feel really sickish and tired. I really dont want to go but Mom says she has things to do....but I dont get it......isnt going out with her the same then being in school all day? I mean I want to go and see all my friends but I feel sooo sick and I just want to lay in bed and slurp down some chicken soup.
What do I do? (Probably impossible to change Mommys mind)

Tell your mom "thanks alot " for getting others sick too. if someone had stayed home when they were sick- you wouldn't be sick today! It's horrible to send someone to school when they are sick- they need rest - her first concern should be your health, not her things to do. You need a hug, go to bed and given juices, meds to ease the sickness. Good luck sweetie.

GO TO SCHOOL THEN SOME TIME DURING THE DAY GO TO THE NURSE TO GET THE NURSE TO LET U GO HOME THEN SHE WOULD HAVE TO PICK U UP AND TAKE U HOME THEN SE MIGHT LET U STAY ON ON FRIDAY IF U STILL FEEL BAD THATS WHAT MY MOM DID

You are most likely sick, even though I know how children can exaggerate, the thing is you do not mention having a Temperature. School policy usually states that a child must be Temperature free (have a normal temp) for 24 hours before returning to class, this rule generally applies to a lot of afflictions such as diarrhea, vomiting etc. Your mother probably does have "things to do" but then I question her priorities, if you are truly ill then she needs to work around them and take care of you. Of course if you are well enough to "go out with her" then you are well enough to go to class. Life isn't always fair, and not knowing more details, I must side with a parent's judgement. Get ready for school and stop hoping for a miracle.
