I had it before. I don't know what it was but if you keep picking it, it gets worse.. if you leave in alone it goes away in three or four days. It's really nasty, but not something quite enough to make someone go see a doctor. I did reaserch when I had it but I never did find anything.

unless your skin is infected because you pick so much, there really shouldnt be any liquid coming out of your stomach!

Wow...you should not have liquid coming out of your belly button. If you picked it enough, the only liquid that would come out would be blood. Unless you had an infection.
If you have drainage from your navel, you probably have either some water trapped in there from a bath, an infection or simply some residual dead skin cells mixed with body oils.
Try using a cotton swab with peroxide to clean our your navel on a regular basis. If you have pain or redness, see a Dr.
you're not talking about picking lint out of there and frankly I dont want to know any more about it..
