Believe it or not my friend's mom does the exact same thing. She actually "dilutes" a cap full of bleach into a tub of running water. I'm pretty sure that's what your friend is doing. Bear in mind that we all take some what of a "bleach bath or shower." How so?! Through the city chlorination system.

First of all, it just sounds disgusting and unsafe (the fumes alone). I really hope your friend is messing with you... Did he happen to mention what benefit he thinks he's getting by doing this??
I've never heard of that. If the bleach was dilute enough it probably would be safe. But my concern would be him hurting the helpful bacteria on his body. We can have both good and harmful bacteria. The good bacteria protects us from the harmful bacteria.
no its not normal or healthy a bleach bath it can get in eyes and blind .it can irreate skin and you can also lose your hair .

I have heard of this also but strongly advise against it. It will strip your skin of moisture and bleach has mercury in it !! Please tell your friend this and also avoid Epsom Salts which also is found to contain mercury. Household items that contain mercury are some Crest Toothpastes and some brands of toliet paper. When I have the complete list, I will post it.
