Thats what happens to me, do you use the refining mask? I find that helps a lot and you can leave it on overnight. You also have to do all 3 steps (cleanser, toner and lotion) morning and night, the proper ways. I reccommend putting on the toner with a cotton ball and the lotion with your hands. Its not perfect (I still have the occasional, "one" aggrivating zit) but noticeably different. I get compliments by friends on occasion.

You might want to consult with a Dermatologist.

i'd try it for another month and if it doesn't get better, visit a dermatologist for some prescription stuff.

as for the old imprints, neutrogena has an acne mark fading peel that i hear works really well.

continue please. becuase i thought it didn;t work after 30 days and let me know if it works

I would suggest that you continue using the product. I have two sisters, an aunt and a cousin who will swear by it. It really does work. And if anything, Proactiv gives a 60 day trial I believe, so why not go at it till the end. Just check to make sure how long that money back guarantee is. Hope this helped you!

Proactiv doesn't work for everyone, but it took me about 3 months to notice a consistent difference. Some of the prescription stuff takes upwards of 6 weeks to work (visibly show clearer skin). I'd try it a bit longer and be consistent!
I also use neutrogena acne gel (comes in a small tube) to cover up a stubborn or growing blemish and by morning, the swelling is gone and I'm good to go.

Good Luck!

What proactive product are you using? Are you treating the scars, or the acne? The acne threatment is really good and you should keep up the three step program religiously. If you are using the lightening cream for scars, you might want to try Mederma cream instead it is usually available without a prescription, but you have to ask the pharmasist for it, it is behind the counter.

if you don't use it exactly how its says, (twice a day; no more no less), then it really does not work that great, but if you do you will see a great difference

Scrub baby scrub.

I personally like the Oxy medication. It's cheaper and easier to use. Plus, I get great results from it. The little acne I have is now gone or barely visable!

I would give it another month or so then see a dermatologist. It may just be that you need medication in addition to the topical treatments.

FYI: You can get the exact same active ingredients over the counter at your drug store for much less money. Read the ingredients and find the match on the shelf.
