Question:
Uncontrollable biting of his mouth?
I asked a question a while a go. My son bits the inside of his mouth -- left hand side-- it's agony for him-- whether he is eating talking or just sitting there it happens and then, his mouth goes into well a spasm of some sort, he dribbles , his eyes roll, his mouth clenches but keeps chewing. It looks like he is choking when it happens!! It exhausts him. I don't know if it's relevant but every now and then he gets a stutter. It comes n goes and it's not always at the same time as the biting thing. He actually passed out early and it scared me to death. After he said I go bed. I go bed. He is 4 in July . It's happening atleast 4 times a day as although I try to help and put teething gel on his sores I'm becoming concerned. Is this habit. A muscle deficiency? He has never had the problem beore but it started a month ago after his stutter.
Answers:
You should take him to see a doctor, this sounds like something is going on in his brain. Perhaps a seizure disorder.
If he is having these every day, and multiple times a day at that, you need your doctor to check him out fast. This is not a minor issue, this is very serious
hiya
i'd take your son to a doctor in the next few days it sounds like your son i having some sort of seizures
and unless its sorted they could get worse
the doctors can prescribe medication for things like this to help control it
all the best x
It sounds like he may be having seizures! Take him to a neurologist, not a dentist.
