braces help? will i look okay? please help?!


Question: Braces help? will i look okay? please help?
okay so i go to this highschool, but i didnt go to either of the 2 middle schools that feed into this higshcool. so i know alot of people now.. but not like KNOW KNOW. and like im getting braces half way into the year.. and im afraid they will look really bad. so idk what to do! i mean i know i have to get them on.. but idk. my options for braces are : clear on the the top and colored on bottom (for some reason they wont let me have clear on bottom) or all color. i was thinking the clear option at first.. but now that i think about it.. im not so sure if top clear and bottom not would loook so good. so should i get all color? and if so WHAT COLOR? just for my first time wannt them to look cute :) aha i like the colors pink blue green purple etc.. so what im really looking for is: just some advice and help for braces ans ways to not be self consious with them ( im very self consious ) and what colors! or if i should get clear!

i would say just to go ahead and get the braces, they dont look that bad!
i would say in like a light blue or aqua ish but all colored cause i think clear and color would look weird
and to tell the truth, alot of girls look cuter with braces :)

No offence, but your kind of making a big deal out of this. So many people have to get braces, its normal. Dont worry if they will look good or bad either. Theyre braces, most people dont make a big deal about if you have them or not. And most likely, they wont look bad. As for color, just go with color(s) that you like. Or if you favor a color of clothing, use that color so they can go with the clothing. The color gets changed every 6 weeks or so. Good luck!

Well, sometimes your braces can be a good topic for conversation! I have some friends whom i don't really talk to a lot and sometimes they come to me and ask about my braces.

And perhaps you could get all color. You don't have to think that hard about which color since you can change them at every visit. I think baby pink or purple would be cute :) haha.

A LOT of kids have braces so you are not going to look bad. And in a few years you are going to be SO thankful that you got them.

I would go with clear on top and maybe white or a very light color for the bottom. And if it turns out youdon'tt like the color you can always change then at your next tightening appointment.

Take a breath. Ok, don't worry about the bottom because it's usually not noticeable. If it makes you feel better I had braces in high school too... and it was great. I went from hiding my smile and blending in with people to drawing a lot of attention when I got my braces off. It is all worth it when the end result is a fabulous smile. Embrace the braces, and it will pay off. (Better now than in college, right?) :)

some chicks can rock the braces. for some reason i dig it sometimes. just be optimistic about them, if your going to have to have them anyways. ive had them for the last 5 years and im in college. not the worst things ever
