Why do I have decalcification?!
Question: Why do I have decalcification?
My dentists told me my teeth are decalcified and to use a fluoride rinse. When I search the internet it says that it's caused by plaque buildup on the teeth. I cannot imagine why I would have this condition. I've always brushed and flossed, and I never had braces or a retainer. Could it be caused by something else? It looks like white streaks on my teeth, and it's not as bad as the pictures I've seen.

I went to dental assistant school with someone who had that and it was caused from sucking lemons and brushing with baking soda for years. So yes other things can cause it. I hope this helps.
