Question: Why do i have a bump on inside of gums next to cavity?
i have a bump on my gums next to where my cavity is. it hurts now and especially when i touch it.

It could be that your tooth is infected. You should have
your dentist check the tooth.



It could be you have food stuck in your gums like a shell from popcorn. You could possibly have an abcess forming from the cavity. You should try brushing and flossing really well and rinse with warm salt water, see if that helps. However you should see a Dentist as soon as possible.
