Permanent Crown hurts really bad?!

Question: Permanent Crown hurts really bad?
I am 17 and got a permanent crown during the summer because my dentist was worried about the tooth structure. There was a cavity but he fixed it and I have not felt any pain since then. I remember we had to the crown redone because my wisdom teeth are still coming in and my teeth had moved during the time they were making the crown. I really didnt like having my already cemented crown taken out, that was really painful. And my dentist said that my wisdom teeth are coming in fine.
Right now the tooth just feels achy, but sometimes its hard to eat because whenever I bite down it hurts.
What could be the worst case scenario?
Its only been going on for a couple of days, so I wasn't sure if I should make an appointment. I probably will, but what are some ideas to keep the pain down? It hurts more when I'm trying to fall asleep.

You need to try and get an emergency appointment today (Friday) and get this looked at in case there is infection building under the tooth as you do not mention that the tooth was root filled at the same time.

Leaving it any longer may mean that you get caught over the weekend when it is rally hard to fine emergency care.
