After wisdom teeth are out can I drink Friday?!

Question: After wisdom teeth are out can I drink Friday?
I literally got my bottom 2 wisdom teeth out around 11am earlier, I'm still numb in the mouth but it doesn't hurt too bad, I can talk pretty well considering my bottom lip feels fat. I'm supposed to be going to a party Friday night, I don't even plan on smoking anything to risk dry sockets, but would I be able to drink? I want to know before-hand so I don't take much or any medicine tomorrow.

Thanks!

I wouldn't drink if I were you but if you insist on drinking then don't take your medication. Mixing medication and alcohol can be very bad. You are probably going to be in pain though and make sure you drink lots of water to keep everything hydrated and help prevent dry socket. Absolutely do not smoke until they are fully healed. Not only can you get dry sockets you can get an infection from the tobacco getting into the open hole.

Drinking will slow down your healing process
