When you get braces do they hurt?!

When you put the braces on, it doesn't hurt. After a few hours, it can get sore. Try painkillers or Advil to keep the pain away. Wait a few weeks, you'll get used to it.

It does not hurt getting them on, but it does feel sore afterward. You should only eat soft things like, mashed potatoes,
soup,
jello,
yogurt,
or pudding.
It does not hurt getting them off, but you do feel some pressure.
P.S. I am getting braces next week, but i have done alot of research.
