Removable or fixed braces?!

Question: Removable or fixed braces?
The Orthodontist said it's possible for me to have either Removable or Fixed braces.
Most people has Fixed ones.
Removable braces:
Pros: You can eat anything you want and you can brush it properly
Cons: You can lose them, forget to wear them and at night when you go to sleep u take them off the next day you wear it it hurts.

Fixed Braces:
Pros: They just stay on your teeth so you don't have to always take them in and out. Makes teeth more perfect and u get to choose colours
Cons: You can't brush the parts underneath the braces thinggy, you can only eat certain types of food. idk :/

Answers:

I would say fixed braces. Even though it might be nice to be able to take the removable ones out, I have a clear retainer and I have to brush it two times a day and soak it in baking soda once every two weeks in order to keep it clean. With fixed braces all you have to brush it your teeth. (: And as long as you keep your teeth clean, then you shouldn't have the white spots. I had fixed braces for three years and didn't have those. (:

Oh and the certain types of food really isn't that bad. Besides I don't know anyone who has completely followed the braces rules. XD

Hope this helps you decide. (: ^^

Fixed Braces for sure! It's completely worth it! I have them right now and have seen dramatic differences already. And the whole 'you can only eat this and not this' thing REALLY isn't that bad. I'm not saying you should go against your orthodontist's orders, but you can still eat stuff! They gave me a list of foods i shouldn't eat, but i still eat half of the things on it and I haven't had any issues whatsoever. I haven't had any problems with wires or brackets ; and my orthodontist says my teeth are moving right on schedule!
