You'll be sore for the first day or two. Just take a motrin and you'll be fine.

I am not going to lie to you, it DOES hurt for a while after you get them put on. The process of actually getting them on does NOT hurt, but afterwards, you will feel pain and discomfort for about a week or two. Your gums will be quite sore, and your cheeks will most likely be sore as well. At least mine were. After about a week or so, the pain will subside. Then it won't hurt again until you go to get them tightened. It's all worth the pain in the end though! Good luck! <3

Honestly, I have a really low tolerance for pain. They only truly hurt for about a day; I recommend taking NyQuil or some painkiller before you get them and regularly for a few days. I was stupid and neglected any pills whatsoever...... Oh well. It subsides. You'll be fine in a day.

I once had braces. On the 1st one or two days they feel weird and a little sore but my suggestion is that after you get them on or tightened, eat a soft or soothing snack like yogurt or ice cream and it will ease some of the aching. Good luck! :)

the adjustments hurt a bit but you can get by

first 3 days hurt! im warning u to eat rite after u get the braces b4 the soreness kicks in..........but after a while there not that bad...good luck :)
