I think you need to address this problem which you are - and that is the first step. So well done :)
I would suggest, for example, when you're at the computer consciously for half an hour STRONGLY decide to not have anything in your mouth. Then when that half an hour is over you can do what you like. Do this for 15 minutes longer each day.. and hopefully if should become easier.
Chewing gum is an alternative but make sure it is sugar free, and you don't want to be bound to chewing gum all day long either it can cause peptic ulcers if you do it too much. Good luck
I had that problem too!!...... but i got it to stop :) i just chewed gum a lot. but some people i know put this clear nail polish on their pencils, pens, or nails, so that it tastes bad and they won't chew on them.
Sellotape your mouth shut.
