Can I drink coffee with my temporary bridge?!
Question: Can I drink coffee with my temporary bridge?
Answers:
Generally the temporary material used in dental offices is resin and not porcelain, the rough surface attracts stains a lot more than the natural tooth or the final porcelain. Usually, the temporary crowns or bridges are on for about two weeks, I don't think you can drink enough coffee to stain it that bad in the two week period. Just to be cautious, it's best to brush and rinse after you enjoy a fresh brew. I do work in a dental office and I can assure you, it's absolutely ok to drink coffee with your temporary bridge and it's good advice to brush and rinse after coffee all the time, even after your get your permanent. Dentists are usually more concerned with you eating sticky foods and having the temporary come off more than anything else. Enjoy your cup of coffee!

I’m a dentist.
Of course.
The issue with temporary prostheses is the strength of the cement. They don’t actually bond to the tooth, hence the prosthetic is not held in very ‘tightly’. Chewing sticky foods that pull on it will dislodge it with relative ease.
Yes, its safe to drink. However, the temporary can stain. I'm not saying it will, but it can. Nothing can really prevent it. The temporary material is porpous.
Me, RDA :)
Yes but water is better for you.
