Question: Can a tooth be 'live' after Root Treatment and crown!?
I thought Root Treatment was to kill the nerves and the crown was to cover it!. So why do I get toothache in this tooth!? I thought it would be dead!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is definitely possible to feel pain on the tooth for multiple reasons!. If you had the infection spread into the bone under the tooth (Periapical radiolucency or PARL) you might feel sensitive for a little while until it heals!. Also, it is possible that there is some residual pulp tissue for example in what we call lateral canals present in the tooth!. It could also be a sign that there might be additional work that needs to be done with your gums or a nearby tooth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've had to get root treatment more than once in one of my teeth, the nerves were longer than "normal" and because of this the dentist missed some!. Go back and see your dentist and ask if this could have happened to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i had 3 root canals 3 years ago 2 with silver crowns and 1 of them is still sensitive to hot and cold now dentist told me i was imagining itWww@Answer-Health@Com
