How long does sensitivity last after a crown is put on?!
Question: How long does sensitivity last after a crown is put on!?
I had my prep work two weeks ago done and today my new crown is on!. Its my second to last molar so its a main tooth to eat with!. It is very sensitive when I bite down!. I already have forgotten its there until I bite down!? How long do I need to be careful for!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It can get less sensitive in weeks or can take months!. Have had it go both ways depending on how good a job the dentist did!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
forever!.!.i have 1 on my front!.!.!.(fight and tooth cracked)!.!.ive had it for about 5 years now and it feels different all the time!.!.!.i avoid apples and anything hard and use the backs to bite!. so i suggest you use your other side just be be extra careful!. thats just my experience though, but i always feel the difference!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Took me nearly a week for the same tooth (and I had a root canal prior to it) Crowns never feel natural to me again, but the sensitivity to them does go awayWww@Answer-Health@Com
does your bite feel right or is the crown too high!? If the bite is right, then figure 6 months before the tooth feels better!. You should talk to your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
