well it could!.!.!.but if you have hard bristle brush or brush too hard, it could wear out the enamel on your teeth!.
if you want your teeth whiter use baking soda!.
people say to mix water with it to make a paste!.!.!.dont do that because you need the flouride from toothpaste 2 times a day!. so sprinkle some on your toothpaste and then brush!. and look!!.!.!.white teeth!
and dont buy that arm n hammer toothpaste or any toothpaste with baking soda in it, it gives you sores!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should always brush your teeth ATLEAST 2 times a day!.
With a soft bristle brush and for 2 minutes!.
Of course it helps your teeth to be whiter!.
