Question: Can you cover a small cavity with a sealant!?
I have a small black cavity on my back tooth, and I was wondering if I could cover it with a sealant!. Do I have to pay for both a filling and a sealant!. Will the cavity decay even more if I just put a sealant over it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, the decay HAS to be remove before a filling can be done!.!.!.!.A sealant would only seal in the decay and it would then progress further!.!.!.!.

i think you should just get it filled because after the dentist fill any cavity they usually use a sealant on it!. So you only pay for the filling Www@Answer-Health@Com
