I've had a brace and yes of course they stick out a tiny bit more because you have the metal just under your lips however I haven't noticed any chance in what my lips were before I had my brace and now that it's been taken off!.

If playing hockey or a sport that you wear a gum shield for it is really annoying though as I couldn't even close my mouth with it in so just looked even more gormless than usual lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my cousin has braces and her lips stick out a lot more now, and also she has these gross cuts all over the inside of her lips and they bled a lot, it was disgusting!.!.but now after 3 years she got them off and her lips aren't so big looking, it really changed her face a lot!. i was surprised, and now she has to use this medicine on her lips to make the scaring on the inside of her mouth heal up a bit more!.

yes theres a little bit of difference, when i had them my lips became more 'pouty' in a good way though :) it actually makes them look fuller and thats a good thing if they arent already full!. when you get them off, eh not really, they kinda go back but their still kinda of pouty!. A slight difference is seen in some patients!. If you teeth stick out far now your braces will probably add to that making a difference!. Some people find no difference!. It really depends on the person!. And your lips are back to normal after! You'll have good, or great looking teeth!. (And lips)Www@Answer-Health@Com

they stick out ALITTLE bit, the braces are mostly (when u mouth is closed) in between ur 2 lips so u dont see a HUGE diffrence!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
