ok !.!. so i'm getting braces in like a week or so i think!.!.And i wanna know if they hurt when you get them on!? Like, do they have to like put a shot in your gum, or teeth!? or something like that!.!. Because i was like watching this one youtube video and this girl had to like get shot er her gum! :/ im nervous, but i really really really, want braces bad! haha!. :] Pleasee help asap(: thankss!.<3Www@Answer-Health@Com

braces haven't bothered me at all since I got them!. Not once!. Sure, they cause me to eat macaroni and cheese and a whole crap load of ice cream when I get them tightened, but hey, who am I to complain about that!?

i recently got braces and no there was not a shot!. For me, it didn't hurt when they put them on!. The worst part was actually loosing an hour of your day!. Your mouth is a little sore the day after!. Don't pick yellow bands- it makes your teeth look dirty (and spaghetti stains white) glad i could help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they dont give you a shot or anything, or at least not in my case!. if you buy some of the throat numbing stuff at the pharmacy, you can spray it on your gums and it helps numb it!.

i think you get a shot to numb your mouth than the dentist takes the little square parts of the braces and puts this stuff on it to make it stick than when their done they cut the end of the wire and thats it so i dont think it hurts to get them but it does when u tighten them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i had to have braces for 5 years!. it doesnt hurt at all when they put them on!.!.!. they are just glued to your teeth!. its later on that hurts because the braces make your teeth shift, which can be painful!. but after a few days with them, it should be more comfortable!. =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
OOHH!! I don't know i never had braces but i wouldnt be worried aout it! alout of people have got them and nobody really ever complains!.!.!. i am just geussing but i dont think you need a shot but i dont know!.!.!.
