Question: I got my braces off!?
I got my braces off!? But how long does an retainer take to make!?
I had my braces in the same position for 2 months and we were waiting for my back molar to grown in and it did!.
Now I have my braces off and I expect my retainer by Friday!. Is that too long!?
Will my teeth shift by then even if they were in the same position for more than 2 months!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Even if they shift slightly, the retainer will bring them back in because it was made from a mold of your teeth as they were when you got the braces off!.
It isn't necessary to keep biting down, in fact the more pressures you put on your teeth, the more movement you will have!. This happens to people who clench and grind their teeth!. Only keep your teeth together when chewing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i just got off my braces too!
And no they shouldnt shift THAT quickly,
but all you need to do is just keep biting down,
making sure that your teeth know where to be placed!.
try to chew on your back teeth,
and just relax,
nothing will happen!

I get mine off tomorrow and don't get a retaer for 10days!. Don't worry the retainer will correct your teeth again if they do move, just enjoy not having braces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
