Question: I just got my wisdom teeth pulled out and!.!.!.!?
im not numb anymore and its my 2nd day!. but i can feel something in the back of my mouth with my tongue!. idk what it is!. has this ever happened to u, if so do u know wat it is!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah it's called a gap, I had 4 removed at the same time at age 15!. It's just the loose gum, since they did pull a whole tooth out!.!. Don't worry, it will heal in time!. Don't rub your teeth around it!. You will probably infect it!. Rinse your mouth with a small cup filled with half water and half mouthwash!. No I didn't get stitches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It takes a while for your mouth to recover from pulling wisdom teeth!. It can be a pretty brutal procedure and what you're feeling could just be inflamed gum tissue; this will take a while to settle down and, just like any other cut you get, it maybe up to a week before it goes away!. If it's still bothering you then go back the Dentist and get them to look at it!. Also, try not to play with it (sorry - hard to do I know!) as this may just delay the healing!. From experience I can say getting my wisdom teeth out was painless (no swelling or anything) and the thing you feel at the back of your mouth could be your stitches (one may have come undone and be hanging) or it could just be food stuck in the stitches (you will be given something to clean out the holes in your mouth once the stitches come out)Www@Answer-Health@Com
It might be stitches!. It depends on how deep your teeth went!. Sometimes food can get stuck in the "crater" left!. To get it out, rinse your mouth well will hydrogen peroxide!. DON'T SWALLOW IT! Just let it sit and bubble for a minute or two!. Doesn't taste pleasant but it works well!. Then, rinse well with water!. Keep up with your meds if you feel pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be some of the cotton that the oral surgeon packs into the socket where the tooth used to be!. I would go see your dentist!. If it is cotton, you do not want to leave it there or it could get infected!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's the stitches they put in!. Dont play with them and you're supposed to clean out the gapping wholes back there with warm water after every meal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
