Question: I swallowed my stitches!!?
i got all 4 wisdom teeth taken out last thursday!. and i had stitches put in!. i think the doctor said that they are dissolvable but i'm not sure!. But I swallowed one of them!. and the other 3 are already gone!. will it do any harm!? and will my healing be affected by me swallowing it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is absolutely normal, and in no way will harm you!. The stitch will just get dissolved in your stomach and will not do any harm!. Your healing will not be affected by this either!. This is what the stitches are supposed to do: dissolve on their own and get absorbed by the body!. I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
