If you go to the dentist and the treatment doesn't work are you entitled to !
Question: If you go to the dentist and the treatment doesn't work are you entitled to a discount!?
Answers:
It depends on the treatment and the dentist!. If the dentist advised you that the treatment was questionable but still worth trying, he/she will likely be open to offsetting some of the cost of the original treatment!. On the other hand, if the failure is the result of poor patient follow-up, then you will be hard pressed to get a discount!. Either way, it doesn't hurt to ask!.
Like anything in medicine, there are no guarantees!. For example, root canals have about a 5% failure rate!. Not the dentist's fault, just a fact of dentistry!. We simply haven't reached that level of medical knowledge to be able to accurately guarantee an outcome!. Much of the human body remains a mystery and health professionals are limited to performing the best they can with only reasonable speculation to the prognosis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
