The only problem with redoing the procedure would be that the tooth is being exposed again!. This can cause problems later on!. To tell you the honest truth, if the decay on the tooth was bad enough to get a root canal and the root canal failed, this is probably because the tooth is really decayed to the point where the dentist probably just wanted to save the tooth!. The problem with completing the procudure again is that you MAY have success, but that decay must of been extreme in that tooth for the root canal to fail the first time!. Even though extractions are not the most looked at thing if you don't need it, I suggest you do it!. The only problem you face is your teeth migrating to the extraction site, which if you are planning on braces, this could stop if for a period of time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it depends how desperate you are to save the tooth!.

With a good dentist you should feel no pain!. I personally pay the extra and have conscious sedation so I don't know what is going on!.

If you have gone this far and it is being done again free, it might be worth continuing and having it done againWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well depends!. I had root canal treatment on a side molar which left the tooth weak!. Should of had it capped!. A year later it fell a part & I had to have it removed!. I could of had a bridge fitted but the teeth either side of the bad one where in excellent condition!. To have the bridge fitted would of meant filing down the good teeth to make the bridge fit!. In the end I had the tooth pulled!. The real shock was the price to have a false one fitted which was a tidy
