Bad Root Canal Experience?!
Question:
Bad Root Canal Experience?
Found out today I need to have a root canal done on a molar. I've already had a filling put in it. The problem is, I've read loads of posts on here saying that mostly, root canals are painless because of local anaesthesia. However, when I had the tooth filled, I had two lots of anaesthetic, but I still felt everything. Does this mean I'll feel the root canal being done? Has anyone ever, honestly, had a bad root canal experience?

Answers:
I had the same problem on one tooth. My dentist put some medicine on it and sent me home and told me to come back in a while.
When I went back (about a month after) the procedure was painless.
Tell your dentist you feel the pain and s/he will stop.
