Sign of An Infection?
My tooth is slightly throbbing....
I have an apmt tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. What are the signs of an infection? I have slight throbbing...no inflamation...just discomfort. My question...this just started on Saturday night...is this a sign of an infection and could it suddenly get worse before now and tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

The signs of an infection are rubor,callor,dollar that is redness inflammation, pain and heat over the surrounding the infection. As you have said that you dont have inflamation the throbbing could be the sign of infection. It can later lead to infalmation too. Yes you can never be sure of the symptoms it may get worse.
