Sometimes. if you have sensitive teeth and gums.Ice may cause a crack or even break a tooth or damage a cavity or filling.Chew with caution also since ice will numb your mouth and you wont feel the pain at first.

yes, over time that habit can weaken and destroy your teeth.

yep, it happened to me...

Yes, it can damage your teeth. But, it probably wont.

they are just frozen water i guess if your teeth are in bad shape they may crack them but if not no

yeahh over time.. but a lot of things can.

i always eat ice and my teeth arnt ruined

enamel wears away...

yes its bad

i heard its also not good for your reproductive organs, wich is bullsh*t.

It dosnt damage them the only danger you pose is breaking a tooh if its hard ice or having a freeze on your teeth if they are sensitive

it shouldnt do any damage your teeth

YES. If you chew on anything hard, including ice of any size, it will wear down or crack the enamel.

Yes, they certainly can. If you are going to chew ice, try ice that is not too cold, because it gets softer as it warms up.

I saw a list of things that are bad to chew on, that you can actually eat, and it was #1.

it depends. if you're biting through ice cubes, then you could potentially break a tooth. if you're just biting on an ice cube, without intent to crush it, then no

They damaged my mothers teeth.

YES, dont do it. They dont crack them all at once. Its happens over time. Just one look at my dad's teeth reminds me to never do it.

I like to chew ice. It probably does damage your teeth, but anything hard will over time right?

ice cubes raped my mother and killed my father.
but i dont see a problem in chewing on them.

Chewing ice cubes weakens your teeth. It can cause sensitive teeth and takes the enamel as you chew. Every time you chew an ice cube it makes hundreds of tiny cracks in your teeth. In the end your teeth either break or snap, or you have to have them removed.

i would say yes.. even if it don't damage your teeth... i know it's irritating as hell and rude to hear someone chewing ice... SO DON'T DO IT !!!

no they dont!.i do it all the time its just water

i hope not, i love eating ice cubes :D

Yes, it did mine.
